Consult A Doctor provides you with two ways to enroll. You can either call Member Support at 1-877-DOC-CONSULT and enroll over the phone, or you can
click here to enroll online.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Yes. Excluding dependants or secondary members, the primary member/accountholder must be 18 years of age or older. A guardian may conduct a consultation on behalf of an underage dependant as long as they are listed on the account.
I have a pre-existing condition. Will I still be accepted by Consult A Doctor?
Yes. Consult A Doctor accepts all patients regardless of a pre-existing condition! We will never deny quality healthcare to anyone. Additionally, members with pre-existing conditions pay the same monthly membership fee and consult fees as everyone else.
What is an On Call Tele-Consult?
Consult A Doctor allows you to simply pick up a phone and get connected to a licensed Consult A Doctor physician within minutes. Simply pick the phone, dial the toll free number and get connected to a doctor within minutes. The On Call Service should
be utilized when you are seeking information on medical conditions, want advice or recommendations for common conditions.
What is a Priority Tele-Consult?
If you need to talk a doctor within 1 hour (guaranteed within 3 hours) for an in-depth, comprehensive consultation, you can request a Priority Tele-Consult. A Consult A Doctor physician will review your Medical Assessment and History Questionnaire prior
to the consult, and provide advice, treatment recommendations, including prescription medication when appropriate. You will be required to complete a Medical Assessment and History Questionnaire prior to your consult).
What is a Tele-Consult by Appointment?
If you are requesting an in-depth, comprehensive consultation at a specific time that is convenient for you, you can request a Tele-Consult By Appointment. A Consult A Doctor physician will review your Medical Assessment and History Questionnaire prior
to the consult, and provide advice, treatment recommendations, and prescription medication when appropriate. You will be required to complete a Medical Assessment and History Questionnaire prior to your consult).
What is a Consult A Doctor Secure E-mail Medical Consultation?
As a member you have access to E-Mail Medical Consultations (E-Consults), where you can communicate with a doctor via our secure messaging system. Consult A Doctor’s secure E-Mail Medical Consultation allows you to simply logon to your member account
and communicate with a doctor via our secure messaging system. Members can send a secure e-mail to our doctors from the comfort of their own home or office at a time that suits them. No waiting rooms, no receptionists, just a direct line to a friendly
doctor.
Can I get a consultation after hours or on weekends/holidays?
Yes. Consult A Doctor’s physicians are available 24/7/365.
Why should I use Consult A Doctor instead of seeing my doctor?

After registering, members can access our physicians either by visiting www.consultadr.com and logging into their account to email a doctor or schedule a consult or simply by calling 877-DOC-CONSULT to be connected to a doctor on call. Our members can
speak with a doctor as much as they want! There are no limits on type of consults of frequency of use!
How do I reschedule a Tele-Consult By Appointment?
You can reschedule a Tele-Consult By Appointment anytime simply by calling our Member Services at 877-DOC-CONSULT. Your payment will remain in our system as a credit to for a Tele-Consult By Appointment at a future date.
